In 2019, Northwell Health recognized the need for specialized maintenance and partnered with APM Steam to implement an annual steam system maintenance program. This program aims to survey and optimize steam traps, ensuring they function efficiently. The combination of proactive maintenance and incentive funding allows us to achieve ROI in less than 12 months, directly benefiting both our financial resources and our sustainability commitments.”

Since the program's inception, APM Steam has surveyed nearly 10,000 steam traps within Northwell’s network, resulting in an astonishing $2,403,672 in savings from reduced gas and electric consumption. Additionally, they secured $1,162,551 in utility incentives, showcasing the financial efficacy of a well-structured energy management strategy.
